【World】The world’s most powerful economies ranking in 2030 ―Asia ver.―

PricewaterhouseCoopers which is located in British and one of the world’s largest professional-services firms released its predictions for the most powerful economies in the world by 2030. It ranked 32 countries by their projected global gross domestic product by purchasing power parity (PPP).
This time I’d like to focus on Asia our company is located in and introduce its rank!

・Top 5 of the most powerful economies in the world by 2030
First, I’m going to introduce top 5 of world. Numeric data is based on PPP. All numbers cited are in US dollars and at constant values (for reference, the US’s current PPP is $18.562 trillion):
1st China $38.008 trillion
2nd United States  $23.475 trillion
3rd India $19.511 trillion
4th Japan $5.606 trillion
5th Indonesia $5.424 trillion
I want you to pay attention to that only “Indonesia” ranked in top 5 in South East Asia!!

In case of this rank, we can compare each country with other populous ones. One may see that there are many chances of business in populous countries at glance.

14th Korea $2.651 trillion
22rd Thailand $1.732 trillion
24th Philippines $1.615 trillion
25th Malaysia $1.506 trillion
28th Bangladesh $1.324 trillion
29th Vietnam $1.303 trillion
As we can see, many countries in Asia are ranked in this list. You can make this result a future reference when you decide a next target country or something like that.
